We are happy to announce that the project Silver Rights by artist Elena Mazzi and promoted
by ar/ge kunst has won the 7th edition of Italian Council.
Silver Rights will be a collaboration with the Mapuche community of Pillan Mahuiza in Patagonia
and the argentinian artist Eduardo Molinari.
The project will be presented in exhibitions at ar/ge kunst in Bolzano (Italy), at the Instituto Italiano de Cultura de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Södertäjle Konsthall (Sweden).
Further presentations will take place at Fundación PROA (Buenos Aires), Istituto Italiano di Cultura "C.M. Lerici" (Stockholm) and by curator Taru Elfving, Director of the CAA Contemporary Art Archipelago, Finland.
For the occasion a new publication will be realized with Archive Books.
Silver Rights will enter the permanent collection of Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea.

- Artista visual. Licenciado en Artes Visuales. Docente Investigador en el Departamento de Artes Visuales / Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA), Buenos Aires, Argentina. Su obra se compone de dibujos, collages, fotografías, instalaciones, intervenciones en el espacio público y publicaciones. En 2001 funda el Archivo Caminante. Desde 2010 coordina junto a Azul Blaseotto La Dársena, Plataforma de Pensamiento e Interacción Artística / Visual Artist. Professor & Researcher at the Visual Arts Department - National University of Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work is composed by drawings, collages, photographies, installations, public space interventions and publications. In 2001 he founded the Walking Archiv.
